The first truly warm day of spring. 48 degrees and it felt like summer. Everyone was out to enjoy it.

I've started a new painting and thought I'd share some of the progress with you.  The studio is all set up and ready to go this morning. I have the basic painting started.  This where I started today. A number of hours later, I'm done for the day.     That's all there is for now. I need to live with it for a little while to see what it has to say. Does it need more work? What and where?
It felt good to spend time painting again. I'll keep you posted on the progress.  I've been wanting to get back to sketching, so I started carving out a little time on my lunch breaks. Here are the first results.
