I don't know what struck me about birds recently. I think it was the silhoutte on the bare branches. Then I just played with the idea. I really like the first two drawings. The bright blue line of sky in the first and the personalities of the birds in the second.

The three finished drawings with color are terrific! There's something about the line up of little sparrows (?) that is too cute. :)

The studies are all full of detail too. I especially like the sort of crabby-looking fellow near the bottom.

All I can say is "WOW"! All of the drawings are wonderful and I can see the progression in your pictures, but the first two are fantastic. The line of sparrows is so life like and precise - I just love the detail. Great!
